Mentoring Organizations for GSoc’17 announced last week. I decided to contribute to INCF - NIX project this year. NIX DataFrame Support project idea seems interesting to me. As I’m already familiar with Pandas at first, I’ve got some idea how to implement that. But as soon as I started messing around NIX code it is starting to look a lot overwhelming, and a thought of changing project came into my mind . But after hours of banging my head on docs and code few things starting to make sense. I thought it would be better to write a small blog post on my experience explaining NIX .
